How we got here, how we work, and what we stand for.
The Problem
There are hundreds of thousands of clinical trials registered worldwide. Thousands are actively recruiting right now. Most patients living with serious, chronic, or treatment-resistant conditions have never been told a relevant trial might exist for them.
The official ClinicalTrials.gov registry is authoritative and publicly accessible — but it’s built for researchers. The search interface is dense. The eligibility criteria are written in clinical shorthand. There is no plain-English explanation, no fit scoring, no “here’s what this actually means for you.”
The result: a massive information gap between what’s available and what patients actually know about.
The Solution
Tidera Health is an AI-assisted discovery layer on top of ClinicalTrials.gov. We take the official data — the same data that researchers use — and make it navigable for patients.
You tell us your condition, location, and optionally some background about your treatment history. We query the live registry, rank results using a transparent pre-scoring engine, and then use AI to explain each trial in plain English — including what the eligibility criteria actually mean, and what questions you might want to ask a research coordinator.
The goal is not enrollment. The goal is awareness: helping patients arrive at a conversation with their physician or a research team already informed, rather than completely in the dark.
Our Approach
Deterministic ranking first
Before AI runs, a rule-based ranking engine scores trials on recruitment status, phase, location proximity, condition specificity, and prior therapy signals. This is transparent, auditable, and documented in our methodology page.
AI explanation layer
Claude AI generates plain-English summaries of eligibility criteria and estimated fit scores. These are educational estimates — not eligibility determinations. We are explicit about this limitation on every result.
No enrollment, no incentives
We do not facilitate enrollment and have no commercial relationship with trial sponsors. We link directly to ClinicalTrials.gov for all enrollment conversations.

We never make claims we cannot support. Fit scores are estimates, not verdicts. We tell patients exactly what our tools can and cannot do.
Explainability
Our ranking logic is documented publicly. Our AI explanations include their own caveats. We believe transparency is non-negotiable in health technology.
Privacy
No PHI storage. No tracking. Your health information lives in your browser session only. We log only anonymized aggregate data — condition and result count, nothing else.
